Welcome to Sonder Editions
A curated dispatch of places, plates, and personal notes — from London and beyond.
Hi, I’m Jess — and this is Sonder Editions, a new little corner of the internet I’ve been quietly building over the past few weeks. It’s part food guide, part travel journal, part newsletter — from my notes app to you.
I’ve been sharing things online since I was 15 — first my art, then design work, then travel stories. Somewhere along the way, it became my job. But as social media sped up, I found myself craving something slower. Somewhere to share the thoughts that don’t fit in a caption, the stories behind the people and places, and all the tips I’d give you if we were planning your next trip over coffee.
That’s what this newsletter is for.
So why Sonder Editions?
As someone who loves solo travel (and a table for one), I’ve always been drawn to the word sonder; the quiet realisation that every passerby lives a life as rich and complex as your own. This newsletter is my way of noticing. A space to gather the moments, meals, and memories that might otherwise go unshared — in carefully considered editions.
I’m still figuring it out, but here’s what you can expect:
→ Food-fuelled travel guides and city debriefs
→ Curated lists from London and beyond
→ Trip planning diaries and cost breakdowns
→ Packing notes, personal reflections, and new travel obsessions
→ And the behind-the-scenes thoughts that never make it to the feed
Each edition is made for curious travellers who plan their trips around food and value first-hand finds before they hit the feed. New posts land 1–2 times a month.
Coming soon to Sonder Editions…
